WTCC Wheel-to-Wheel Racing at GTA Finals

Chino, California – 08/05/25 — The Western Touring Car Championship is set to join Global Time Attack (GTA) at the highly anticipated GTA Finals, taking place at Buttonwillow Raceway Park on November 7th-9th.

This historic collaboration marks the first time that WTCC, the premier West Coast-based touring car series in the US, will officially participate in a GTA weekend, bringing with it a fleet of top drivers, fast machines, and drama to your favorite messenger chat.

The WTCC series features unique race car builds, with real Gran Turismo vibes. All WTCC builds are weight-to-power balanced toward a 12.49 lbs/HP, with various modifiers based on drivetrain/aero/etc.

“GTA Finals is a big step for WTCC,” said Jonathan Lugod, driver in WTCC. “GTA has kept this crown jewel of the Time Attack season going for 20+ years, and we’re excited to finally bring our cars and drivers to race wheel to wheel on the weekend.”
